Cornerstones welcomes the support of community groups, businesses and individuals who want to organize a Friendrasier and donate the proceeds or items to benefit our programs and services.
When you are planning a community engagement event or your company is planning a day of giving back – think of Cornerstones.
Hosting an event to support Cornerstones is a great way to assist your neighbors in need and invest back in the community where you live, work, play, and serve.
Some of the different events include a golf tournament, a wine tasting, a casino night, a concert, a bake/candy/lemonade sale.

Friendraiser Drive Events
A Drive is a collection of items packaged together to meet a specific need. Drives are a great way for volunteer groups such as scouts, religious organizations, businesses, schools, or individual families and neighborhoods to make a difference right here in their community.
Here are some examples: collect baby items as part of a baby shower; at your next birthday party, ask guests to bring gifts of nonperishable foods; ask your coworkers to donate supplies to make welcome home baskets.

Thanks to J.S. Plank and D.M. DiCarlo Family Foundation for hosting the Reston National drives to benefit Cornerstones.
Thank You Tim & Julianna Chapman!
The Families Feeding Families fundraising campaign, created by Tim and Julianna Chapman, was in direct response to the need for emergency food and financial assistance for the thousands of local families, children, and individuals served by Cornerstones and its partners. The campaign raised more than $35,000 in financial and gift card donations in just three weeks! Thank you to the Chapman Family and all our donors for supporting this friendraiser event.
