One Fairfax

One Fairfax is a joint social and racial equity policy of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors and School Board. It commits the county and schools to intentionally consider equity when making policies or delivering programs and services.

It’s a declaration that all residents deserve an equitable opportunity to succeed if they work hard—regardless of their race, color, sex, nationality, sexual orientation, income or where they live.

By investing more intentionally in an effort to increase housing availability locally, Cornerstones and Fairfax County Office to Prevent and End Homelessness (OPEH) seek to uphold and support the “One Fairfax” resolution that speaks to the County’s commitment to create the conditions for all residents to “live, learn, work, and play” and have equitable access to opportunities that enable them to participate and prosper in Fairfax County.

We invite you to learn more about One Fairfax and how you can be a part of ensuring all individuals in our community have an opportunity to reach their highest level of personal achievement.
