BR is a 45 year old single mother of 3 children who completed the 11th grade. She became homeless in 2004 due to eviction. She moved into Cornerstone's H.O.U.S.E. ( Housing Opportunities Strengthen Everyone) program in 2005. BR began working in a grocery store at $11.50 per hour. In 2010, she began working as a school bus driver making $17.50 per hour. During her tenure with the H.O.U.S.E program, BR participated in CreditSmart and Computer Core. Initially her debt level was $30,000. After participating in CreditSmart and working with the financial coach and financial mentor, BR has paid all of the debt and now has a credit score of 705. Her goal is to purchase a small one or two bedroom condominium after her children leave home.
