General Donations to the Embry Rucker Community Shelter
Due to limited manpower during COVID19, Embry Rucker Community Shelter has initiated the following schedule for safe donation drop off. The Embry Rucker Community Shelter is only accepting on-site drop-off of material and financial/gift card donations during the following days/times:
- Monday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Friday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Food donations can be made at any time. All food donations can be transported to the kitchen/back door (through the parking lot and to the right). You will see a canopy and table set up for no-contact food drop-off. Please knock on the kitchen door or call (703) 437-1975 to ensure that the food is brought in.
Donations can be left at our designated donation drop-off table located at the front entrance of the building. Please call the front desk at (703) 437-1975 upon your arrival to inform a staff member of your donation.
Food Donations to our Assistance Services and Pantry Program
The Stamp Out Hunger Donor Drive is a drive with a single mission—to feed the hungry in America.
Cornerstones is participating in the 2021 Stamp Out Hunger Donor Drive campaign and welcomes donations of food.
If you wish to make donations of food staples, fresh produce, toiletries, or gift cards please call (571) 323-1400 for the latest food pantry needs and drop-off procedures. Our Assistance Services and Pantry Program is located at:

Donate a Vehicle
- The vehicle must be clean and in good working condition with current VA safety and emissions inspection.
- The vehicle must need less than $200 in repairs.
- The donor must provide all paperwork for the vehicle, including the title signed over to Cornerstones. Click here to learn more.
