About the Food Hub

Since opening in November 2023, the “Food Hub” has collected over 1 million pounds of food to support families across our region. This 10,000 square foot food warehouse is equipped with large capacity freezers and refrigerators; three loading bays; equipment to facilitate food collection, rescue and distribution operations; and more throughout Fairfax and Loudoun counties.  

Through food rescue, food drives, community donations, and strategic purchases, this food has strengthened our network of partner pantries and feeding programs working every day to address food insecurity in Fairfax and Loudoun Counties. As of the close of calendar year 2025, Cornerstones distributed 728,830 pounds — the equivalent of 607,358 meals.

This milestone reflects the power of community. Every pound collected represents a neighbor who gave, a volunteer who showed up, and a family who received the nourishment they needed. Thank you for helping us ensure more families have reliable access to healthy food — and for making the first million pounds possible.
