Announcing the 2027 Cornerstones of Our Community Honoree

Leidos has been a valued corporate partner of Cornerstones for more than 13 years, contributing over $800,000 in philanthropic support to help local individuals and families access food, housing, and other essential resources. Beyond its generous financial contributions, Leidos demonstrates a deep commitment to community impact through hands-on employee volunteerism, supporting food distributions, meal packing, special events, and other service projects. The company’s commitment is also reflected in the leadership of Roy Stevens, a senior Leidos executive who serves on the Cornerstones Board of Directors and Co-chairs Cornerstones’ Fundraising Committee, helping advance our mission through strategic guidance and community engagement.

As the 2027 Cornerstones of Our Community honoree, Leidos exemplifies the spirit of corporate citizenship and partnership that this award celebrates. Its sustained investment, employee engagement, and executive leadership have made Leidos an invaluable partner in strengthening our community. Honoring Leidos will celebrate more than a decade of shared impact while recognizing a company whose commitment to philanthropy and collaboration inspires others to give back. With its extensive network of business and community leaders throughout Northern Virginia, Leidos also offers an opportunity to broaden corporate engagement and build new partnerships that will help Cornerstones continue creating stability, empowerment, and hope for the individuals and families we serve.
